Guest Room and Corridor Renovation Underway at Best Western Escondido Hotel
Construction is officially underway at the Best Western Escondido Hotel, where our team has begun a comprehensive guest room and corridor renovation designed to elevate the guest experience while maintaining seamless hotel operations.
This project builds on our long-standing relationship with ownership, following our 2017 public-space renovation of the 100-room property. The scope includes a refresh of all guest rooms and interior corridors. We’ll install new carpet and paint. We’ll also upgrade the corridor finishes including carpet, paint, and wall sconces. These improvements support ownership’s broader reinvestment strategy to strengthen the property’s position in the competitive North County market.
Our renovation work is scheduled over 12 weeks, progressing floor by floor. We’lll spend approximately three weeks per level to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption. Throughout construction, the hotel will continue welcoming guests while operating at a carefully managed occupancy level that supports both an excellent guest experience and efficient construction progress.
Renovating While Operating: A Disciplined Approach
Executing renovations in an active hotel environment requires a disciplined and highly coordinated approach. Our team is prioritizes cleanliness, noise control, and precise phasing to ensure guests remain comfortable throughout their stay.
“With deep experience delivering occupied hotel renovations, we know how to keep projects moving without compromising daily operations,” said Ian Mahon, president and CEO of Level 3 Construction. “This project showcases our ability to execute with speed, precision, and brand-compliant quality in a fully operational environment, and we’re proud to continue our partnership with this repeat client.”
