Pouring Progress: Level 3 Construction Moves Ahead in Carlsbad
On July 3, Level 3 Construction reached a major milestone at its affordable housing project in Carlsbad, California. Coastal Concrete was on site to pour the building’s foundation, a critical step in the development of this much-needed community resource.
This 19-unit affordable housing development is part of a broader 95-unit residential community known as The Nest at La Costa. The foundation pour required 29 concrete trucks delivering a total of 273 cubic yards — marking a significant step forward in bringing more affordable housing to North County San Diego. With the foundation in place, framing has begun, and the walls are going up this week.
Located adjacent to La Costa Town Square, this $5.8-million project is being developed on behalf of MirKa Investments, a longtime leader in California affordable housing. The Nest at La Costa continues the strong partnership between Level 3 Construction and MirKa Investments, following our successful collaboration on South River Village in Oceanside.
